Advancement Opportunities:
The most unique way that Rev.io promotes advancement is through Progression Models. Every member of our team, across all departments, has objective goals to complete that determine their trajectory to be promoted and/or received merit increases. These models take the mystery out of performance, let an employee know where they stand, and know what they need to accomplish for further career growth in their position.
Community service/charitable causes:
Rev.io has an employee-driven committee that evaluates charitable opportunities in the communities in which team members live. Multiple times a year, our employees take time off to serve these charities; an example was Toys for Tots packing in Atlanta in December 2023. We also elevate a local charity at our annual Client Summit, inviting them to the event and driving contributions from our client attendees. These organizations usually have ties to team members, making them special and meaningful for our team to engage.
Measuring satisfaction:
We administer surveys for Great Place to Work and Energage on an annual basis. We also take things one step further, however, by having all our employees sit for semi-annual 1:1s with our C-suite and VPs to go through a list of questions and get real honest feedback on how things are going at the company.
Even as our company has grown to 180 team members, we have kept this practice going at scale as it is one of the most valued cultural differentiators we have versus other companies. Our employees regularly cite how much they look forward to these opportunities.
Work/Life:
We promote work life balance through:
- Unlimited PTO
- Defined working hours that can be set on calendars, setting parameters for team members.
- Flexible working hours for certain roles, particularly in regards to child/family care needs.

- A technology allowance of $80 per month for all employees to cover mobile phones and use of technology tools at home
- $30 monthly reimbursement for gym/health club memberships

Virtual employee meetups around geographic hubs outside of our Atlanta headquarters
Communication and Collaboration Tools:
Rev.io has employees in more than 15 states, so we rely heavily on Microsoft Office 365 for collaboration, communication, and file sharing. We use the entire suite including Office, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. All team members have equal access to these in a fully cloud native environment, ensuring that any team member can work at the same level whether they are remote or in our home office.
In 2022 we established a dedicated role for Internal IT at the company, in which a team member would be fully responsible for helpdesk, equipment and tools provisioning, and troubleshooting team member issues.
This individual rolls up to our CIO and works through both our ticketing system and a Teams communication channel to facilitate quick action.
We also utilize a corporate membership at CDW to quickly and easily get materials to team members no matter what state they live in.
How corporate vision is communicated:
Each year, Rev.io publishes an internal One Page Plan (OPP) or our team and our investors. This plan has our financial targets and SMART goals for the company, and every department in the company creates their own OPP for tracking. These plans help employees understand our objective clearly, along with what they need to do to drive performance.
On a monthly basis, during All Employee Meetings, we provide transparent updates to how we are tracking to our strategic and financial goals. We are also transparent as leaders as to why we are falling short and what plans we have to improve our trajectory.
Empowering employees:
Rev.io’s ACT TOP awards have become well-known in the industry for the unique way that they tie performance to our values, which are:
- Achieving Extraordinary Results
- Caring for Employees, Clients, and the Community
- Take Responsibility and Act Like an Owner
- Transparent Leadership
- Opportunity to Make a Positive Difference
- Passion for InnovationWe also promote these value wins externally through client newsletter and social media. For example, we interview our annual winners and post the videos via social media. See an example link here.To scale effectively, companies like Rev.io must empower our employees to make individual decisions. An important way we do this is through different leadership level teams and working groups. Key issues that come up on a weekly basis are delegated through these levels, and whoever is on the group is responsible for determining a plan of action. Oversight and coaching takes place for these groups, but we let them make decisions at the levels appropriate for the outcome and effects on the business
- At Rev.io, individual working groups and teams are encouraged to affect change in the areas they focus on. We offer numerous feedback channels for employees to encourage new ideas, including through employee 1:1s with leaders (see above).
- On a monthly basis, we announce a single winner of our ACT TOP award from across our 180 employees. At the end of each year, we choose a single winner for each of the above values (six in total). These monthly and annual awards are the highest order of recognition for our employees, and we widely celebrate them with team members.
Ensuring well-being:
Rev.io offers unlimited PTO to employees after their first 90 days working at the company.
We support our employees through our PTO policy and encouragement to take time needed for things like caregiving, and our financial incentives for physical and mental wellness show our encouragement for employees to take good care of themselves.
| Closing company statements:
Top candidates should know that in our most recent Great Place to Work survey, 97% of employees agreed that Rev.io was a great place to work. Similar companies in the US were rated at just 57% of employees stating the affirmative. |
