Measuring satisfaction:
HR Hosted monthly lunches/roundtables to collect feedback on company culture, benefits, and leadership. We also participate in the Bay Area Top Workplaces. In addition, we are working to add “coffee corners” each month for employees to meet with our leadership and CEO team to ask questions about the business and give feedback on the company culture.
We have a very fun and innovative environment, with complete open seating (even for the leadership team). No one has offices, to ensure we create a team environment that openly encourages collaboration.

This past year Cohesity held two meetings in exotic locations which included employees and their families in Hawaii and Mexico. Through All Hands Meeting, emails, staff calls, sharing customer wins, and of course as they read blogs posted on our Cohesity website, and through other external channels.

We have a very transparent culture, with an open-door policy where employees can approach HR or the leadership team at any time.
We recognize folks at our Company All Hands, through email, and also at team meetings and events. Externally, folks receive recognition when they write a blog and get publically mentioned or it is re-tweeted to our Cohesity site.

Ensuring well-being:
We offer highly competitive benefits plans that are fully paid for by the company. We offer weekly massages and company sponsored work out classes 3 days a week. We also do health and wellness lunch and learns, as well as provide annual bi0-metrics screenings and flu shots.
Longevity:
Most engineering employees have been at Cohesity for at least 2-3 years. The majority of the leadership team has been at the company for 18 months.
