Collaboration tools:
At CENTRI, we use Skype for Business for conference calls and instant messaging. We use SharePoint for file storage and sharing. We have built custom dashboards on SharePoint which has been very helpful in managing, sorting and searching all important documents. We use Microsoft CRM Dynamics’s One Note which get updated with all market research data and has advanced file browsing features that help the Sales Team to be on the same page with the market research team. We use Confluence as the go to place for all of the engineering documents and requirements. We extensively use JIRA for engineering tickets and help desk activities.
All of the above systems help employees have quick access to the required data and share information seamlessly which improves their productivity. We have chosen technology based on the convenience of employees and make sure it solves all their needs.
How corporate vision is communicated:
We conduct monthly all-hands meeting, quarterly town hall meetings where the CEO and the leadership team update all the employees with any changes to the company vision, announcement of new benefits or new policies, excellence awards to employees and news about potential and existing customers.
Recognition:
During our monthly all-hands we call out those employees that go the extra mile, the ones that shine and put forth 110% effort. We do this with the entire company to show each other appreciation and recognize hard work amongst the team.
Empowering employees:
CENTRI’s success has been driven by its smart and hardworking employees who take ownership and are biased for action. Each team member is the owner of their respective scope of work. For example, engineers decide the technology and the logic to implement, to make our product the best in the market. The Sales team takes the ownership of using the best channel to bring in quality leads and bring in more business. The marketing team owns the ingenious ideas to increase the reach, to listen to customers for understanding their pain points and the go-to-market strategy that best fit for the new product.
Longevity:
CENTRI has been fortunate to have employees who have stayed with the company through thick and thin.
The management team, led by the CEO and CTO have been guiding all the employees since the start of the company. During the course new members have been added to the management team to lead the product and marketing efforts.
The engineering design efforts are driven by the Principal Software Engineer who has been working for the company the last four and half years. The engineering team members, on average, have more than two years of experience with the company.
The Director of Product Delivery who has been responsible for managing the program and delivery activities has been with the company for over three years.
The Office and HR Manager who works closely with the management team, coordinates on-boarding activities, company events and handles facilities management, has been with the company for more than three and half years.
Over the past years CENTRI has grown in number and has been fortunate to have great employees who have been working hard to insure the growth of the company.
